• Foundations in Bible Translation (Also available in ASL)
  This certificate guides learners through a sequential approach to Bible translation, providing context and laying the groundwork needed to successfully complete subsequent certificates. The content is appropriate for brand new translators, as well as consultants-in-training, translation team leaders, and any translation professionals who want to guide others through learning the basics of Bible translation.
• Biblical Greek – Part 1
  Biblical Greek: Part 1 introduces students to the basics of Koine Greek through the Biblingo platform. Students learn the basic forms, structures, and vocabulary of the language through brief lessons, interactive exercises, and personalized review. Reconstructed culturally accurate videos and pictures of the biblical world are provided to place the language in its original context. Reading passages on the student’s level are provided throughout the course so that they can build fluency in reading the Greek text.
• Biblical Greek – Part 2
  Biblical Greek: Part 2 expands the student’s knowledge of Koine Greek through the Biblingo platform. Students learn additional forms, structures, and vocabulary of the language through brief lessons, interactive exercises, and personalized review, adding to what has already been internalized in part 1. Reconstructed culturally accurate videos and pictures of the biblical world are provided to place the language in its original context. Reading passages on the student’s level are provided, including simplified biblical texts, so that he or she can build fluency in reading the Greek text.
• Biblical Hebrew – Part 1

  Working knowledge of Biblical Hebrew is critical to understanding and translating the Old Testament. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced learner, lessons 34-52 of this certificate program can help you become a fluent reader of biblical Hebrew by providing the resources, system, and motivation you need to learn efficiently, retain effectively, and develop fluency during every stage of the language learning process. The goal is not to just learn and retain Hebrew, but to be able to actually use it!

• The World of the New Testament
  This course is a part of The World of the New Testament certificate program, which seeks to answer the question: *What are the basic tools to interpret and translate the New Testament?* Throughout this certificate program, you will learn to describe the first-century culture as a framework for the New Testament context, recognize the different genres employed in the New Testament, employ a contextual model of interpretation to read New Testament material, and integrate the New Testament books into a general narrative. The World of the NT certificate serves as your roadmap to mastering the skills needed to translate the writings of the NT so that it is clear, accurate, and natural for hearers in their mother tongue.
• The World of the Old Testament
  Welcome to The World of the Old Testament certificate course! As you go through this certificate, you will be encouraged, inspired, and challenged as you work through the content and practices that will be a part of your journey through the Old Testament. Please note that you will encounter some biblical Hebrew throughout this certificate. Use the included information to deepen your understanding of the text and continue working through this certificate regardless of your comfort level with the Hebrew language. The Hebrew examples included in this certificate are meant to enhance your learning and understanding of the translation process and the original text.
