Augmented Quality Assessment (AQuA)
AQuA seeks to develop capacity and increase the pace of translation quality assurance. AQuA harnesses the latest artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to assist human reviewers in objectively assessing multiple facets of translation quality. AQuA is able to produce an increasingly detailed suite of quality-related diagnostics, with at least five augmented quality assessment methods in the areas of accuracy, clarity, and naturalness.
MACULA includes rich datasets (accessible via GitHub and via an API). These datasets provide many layers of linguistic description for every sentence of the Hebrew Bible and Greek New Testament, including syntactic structure, morphology, semantic domains, relationships, referents, glosses, and quotations, and other aspects.
The Bible Translators assistant (TBTA)
TBTA is a software system that can be used to produce draft translations of Scripture in a language that does not yet have the Bible. These drafts convey the meaning of each Bible verse in the target language, but still need to be edited for clarity and naturalness.
